We are currently undertaking our final year in the University of South Australia's undergraduate course, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Microengineering. As part of this important year a complex project is to be completed.
We have elected to work in a team designing and constructing a "Self Navigating Mobile Robot" which will take the form of a self navigating model car. At the end of the year our design will race against other competitors from across Australia at Queensland's Technical University QUT. There will also be demonstrations at UNISA's Levels campus and the potential to gain exposure in local schools via an engineering awareness program throughout the year.
